Dawlish and Cockwood 20MPH Limit

Devon County Council will soon decide about a 20Mph limit for Dawlish and Cockwood.

You have a chance to influence that decision - please help us find out what you as a local resident wants.

Dawlish Town Council were successful in getting Devon County Council funding for a 20Mph limit in residential areas.  Local Lib Dems have had many people asking for speed restrictions, and feel that may not be reflected in the consultation responses received so far. Because of this we are keen to get a clear picture of what the Town wants.

During Devon's consultation very few people responded, and a Facebook post caused approximately 150 No votes, which means that the limits may not go ahead.

Cllr Rosie Dawson, children at the Dawlish College and local MP Martin Wrigley think that this doesn't reflect the feeling in the Town, and in Cockwood village.

If this petition shows that the feeling of the Town are clear - for or against - the 20Mph limits, we can get the right decision from Devon County Council. Thank you.
