In November 2024, it was announced that the Post Office will close over 100 crown branches, also referred to as directly managed branches. Teignmouth is amongst those at risk. We believe that as a crown post office that offers a full range of services it should be prioritised to remain, especially as in recent years both Dawlish and Newton Abbot have faced the closure of their crown post offices.
